"I've been screwed so many times, I cut this cable in half out of distrust. And what a surprise. There are some tiny wires wrapped by loosely braided copper shielding (not 99% coverage, also a lie) without any additional foil shield, and then covered in a super thick PVC insulation to give the appearance of 16 gauge wires inside. The inner wires are 0.032" diameter, making them 20 AWG. I want my money back. I am done with this vendor. And I'm getting to be done with Amazon altogether.Update: the “report incorrect product description button” is an empty link (not broken, but empty). So I called Amazon to ask about being prevented from exposing the fraud. They did nothing, wouldn’t even refund the cost, since I already cut the item in half and threw it away. I won’t be surprised if this review is somehow not posted, but if not, my next step is a BBB complaint or whatever else I can do to serve the fellow consumer."

This is a fantastic TRS cable - by far, the lowest ohms of any cable I have purchased. I use it with a Variax modeling guitar that uses the RING conductor to supply power to internal computer. With ALL other reasonably priced cables I tried, their resistance reduced the voltage just enough that the guitar's computer kept dropping out (internal circuitry ensures the supply voltage is within a small range or it shuts everything down). This cable has larger wire and gold plated connectors to ensure low ohms. It is bright and clear so the capacitance must be low too. Has a very sturdy feel and performance equal to far more expensive cables. The guitar pictured is a Variax 500 with magnetic pickups I added to provide even more versatility to the internal computer.way
