"Although written in the late 1700's, author Adam Smith discusses fundamental principles of Industry, Trade, Commerce & Economics, which are useful to understand for those concerned with these matters, and can be diligently translated to suit modern times.Common sense ideas with wholesome background explanations, detailing the components and best practices of what creates and sustains a wealthy nation (and consequently wealthy individuals).I'm currently enjoying this book as a progressive reading, to be studied and digested at my convenience. This is a great addition to any diligent student's library, whether you're into business, politics or socio-economics, one should know about this book and Author.The only minor criticism I have in mind is that the Authors' prose sometimes plenty of 'verbiage', digressing with long-winded phrasing, (even in this modern re-published version, they've made efforts to make it reader friendly without diluting the Authors message to much) but don't let that stop you as this can be overcome by taking the time to properly meditate on the message, and by "reading between the lines" so to speak. Should provide a good workout for your brain.Overall a excellent book and highly recommend to serious students of the matter.(Four, to Four / Half Stars)"
